Music Production Software VST

The music production software vst is the absolutely workhorse in my home studio. I hardly do any beats without using at least two or more Virtual instruments.

You gotta love VST's because there is no midi cables. Steinberg's Cubase is one of my favorite. With a couple of samples and sound effects I always make great tracks using this program.

Virtual Instruments are the coolest too because they allow you to put as many sounds together that you want. If your computer processor can handle it you can have 100 tracks with just instruments. That's before you even get to drums.

Technology is keeping companies from making cheap sounds or loops to use also. If you do a search you will find many sites that allow you to downloads waves.

The audio from a vst instrument is so high quality that people are doing entire albums from stand alone applications like IK Sampletank.

There are so many different software vst's out there it's hard to make a choice which is better.

I recommend trying out Reaktor, Propellerhead Reason and Sonic Synth.
