What I’m am saying here is if you are not eye candy your chances as a female singer to make millions is slim to none. Might as well try out for the WNBA. As a man you can make millions as long as you you have an angle. Here is a tip, try picking up an instrument. If you play an instrument then you can be butt ugly as long as you can make your own music. There are hundreds of people that will and can write your lyrics.

Now it may seem easy to you but it’s not unless you have the knowledge of how to rock these sites. Just throwing up a page with your beats means absolutely nothing to visitors. you have to find a way to drive them to your page. I use to hustle my tracks in the stores of Mars music and guitar Center in Atlanta. I would spend 4 or 5 hours in the speaker (monitor) rooms waiting on rappers and singers to come in. I would be playing my hottest tracks on the Mackie’s or Yamaha monitors loud so they could hear. I sold tracks that way but it was definitely not fun.  Now I’m having a blast selling my beats on the Internet through my main website, Soundclick and from Youtube. Yeah, sure I make thousands from the Independent labels that have rap artist that spit over some of uptempo RnB tracks but the majority of them love rap bangers. This means you must spread your genre out to West coast, East coast, down south and Sample beats. If you only produce one type of beat then you are missing major money.

For as little as $500-$1,500 you can get a production or recording company going. That’s not to say that you will have everyting you need right away though. You will only have the basic equipment and things but you can get going and generating income with that low amount.

I got my production company Marinated Musiq started in 2005 with just $235. I’m serious! My company now brings in thousands of dollars monthly and I have not worked for another man or woman in years.
