Getting a music production bundle is probably the best way to get into the production arena especially if you plan on making hip hop or rnb beats. You can go to a local Guitar Center and come out with big name products like Propellerheads Reason, FL Studio, Mbox and even IK Multimedia Sampletank. Any of these VST software programs along with a midi keyboard and soundcard is absolutely dangerous. I personally like the Reason package they put together but shop what works best for you as a producer

Nothing will save you more money, heartache and pain than music production contracts. trust me when I tell you that you should always put it in writing. The minute you start selling beats and other music online to people without a contract is the moment you set yourself up to lose money or get sued or fall out with a friend.

Nothing is more clear than a sheet of paper that says in black and white what a producer is going to earn for his or her work. I’m sure you have heard of record labels stiffing people over royalties and vice versa.

Don’t get caught up in this mess Put It In Writing. Always use music production contracts when you are doing business or you will regret it big time.

Most music production companies nowadays are just throwing untalented people with great looks up against the wall in hopes of a number one hit single. All you need is a fresh hip hop or rnb beat and WHAM! If you have a hot body and can halfway dance you are in the game.

One hit wonders are a dime a dozen now and most of the songs on the charts are pure garbage. People don’t entertain anymore and without protools and autotune majority of them can’t sing either.

You have a bunch of sub-par producers that bang beats on Fruity Loops or Reason and record vocals and swear they are the best thing smokin’. The problem is they don’t last 6 months in the business and never create a legacy. Take your time and learn or respect your craft and you will be better than 95 percent of the production competition out there.

Don’t think that websites like Youtube are just for watching silly videos. You can watch some great producers make beats or record vocals or anything regarding music. fruity loops tutorials

There are so many fruity loops tutorials online that it will make your head spin. The producers that use this production software are very good at what they do and many have been FL Studio users since it was 1.0.

I have personally been rocking the program since 3.5 and have some of the best tracks I ever produced from using it. Fl Studio has made me thousands of dollars on the Internet selling beats and you can do the same.

Youtube provides many videos on these tutorials and one of my favorite is from Dajova on a video called “The Bass Hunter”.

Fruity Loops is not a toy like some producers think it is. If you are a professional and have some of the plugins and vst’s that I have you can make hits all day long.

sometimes I go without using my akai mpc1000 for weeks because of my software applications. If you are from the east coast you may never go on this type of vacation fro your hardware equipment and that’s understandable.

You never know what you are going to get out of me especially if I’m watching music videos for production techniques from across the world.

Let me say right up front that sound engineering schools are so much bigger than music production or recording of audio. A sound engineer is going to be needed on every block buster movie film that will ever come out.

Hell I willing to say that their is at least a team of 5 or more on them all. Long after the music producer has created a track with his equipment software and hardware the sound engineers will be on the job.

You have to be able to hear everything in surround sound clarity. with technology like Blu-Ray the slightest mistake could prove to be terrible. This goes double for anyone that has a Bode Music system.

Taking courses in this field is extremely fun from what I have read. You get a chance to work with Famous musicians as well as movie film and video production moguls.

If you are good enough you may even win an award for sound one day…imagine that.
