Protools best recording studio software?

Most people say that hands down Protools is the best recording studio software on the planet. Well that’s kind of true. you see if you are using the MBox platform it is not. However, if you have the money to cop the Protools HD setup it cannot be beat especially if you have the million dollar SSL board on deck. This Protools LE setup here comes with the M-Audio package which has a midi controller, a mic and a pair of monitors.

Audio Recording Software for PC free

In the event you are not using a Mac computer there are some free pc audio recording software applications that can have your music right. Of course I use the Logic and Garage band a lot on my MacBook Pro which came with it. That’s not to say that when I first started recording that I didn’t use the free stuff on my desktop. If you take the vst’s serious you can really record some hot vocals and music. Keep in mind that these are free though so don’t expect any really good processing power of mastering.

Apple building the Macbook Pro was the next best thing. That laptop armed with Login and Garage band is ridicously powerful.

I have a Dell PC latop and it’s just to bulky with the carrying of an external Firebox soundcard. The Macintosh computer is built to take care of everything regarding media. Especially for production or recording of audio.

What is it that I’m speaking about. You already know it’s Protools. The digidesign music production tool kit is part of it too.

If you purchase a Mac Book Pro you get a scaled down version of Logic. Just because it’s scaled down doesn’t mean it’s not good either. This program is a monster and everybody at Apple knows it. That’s the reason they place it in the laptop along with Garage Band.

Macintosh computers are media driven so they come with the best applications to accomplish the work.

I use a couple of different programs so my answer is pretty simple and consistent.

The best recording software for me is Steinberg’s Cubase or Nuendo. I love the VSTs and everything else these two software applications provide.

Sure there are others like Protools, Logic, Sonar or Adobe audition but I don’t use any of them. The real answer to the question is clearly going to be an opinion. When it comes down to it I make all my money from Steinberg recording software so it’s gold in my book.

With the websites that dispense blockbuster movies online folks want to get them on disc. You won’t get that Blu-Ray disc quality but you will be straight as far as clarity. You will be alright as long as you don’t burn them for sale. If you get caught doing that you will pay a ridiculous price with the Feds involved. Enjoy dvd recording while you can because pretty soon it will be history. DVR with Tivo leading the pack is becoming as regular as computers in households.

It’s not 1999 anymore when I use to have 100 percent hardware equipment like the Roland 880 digital recorder.

Computers have gotten much more powerful due to technology like Dual Core Intel processors and more. this in return has turned millions of home recording studios into software users.

ADAT’s are only good for that analog sound now but at the end of the day the audio will still go through a software program like Pro Tools or Nuendo. You just can’t get way from digital.

If you try an avoid using computers in your production or recording sessions you will die a quick death in the music industry. Unless you knwo something I don’t know.
