Careers In Music
Production
Careers in music production
can very extremely lucrative or thy can fizzle at the drop
of a dime.
Depending on who you are and what kind
of music you choose to produce will be a deciding factor in
success and failure most of the time.
Now I know that's a very bold statement but it is really
true.
Different types of genres require a different type of skill
level to be called a producer.
Let's start with Hip Hop. Heck, anybody with a drum machine
and sample or two can do this type of production work.
This is not the case for RnB though. You will
have to know your way around a keyboard and some notes to
get this right. With bridges and vamps your basslines will
have to change up and that requires playing some
chords.
How about Country or Pop Music production? Same thing! you
will need more than an MPC drum machine to make hits for artist
that sing this type of music.
I also want to take a look a Rock and Roll. If you don't
play a guitar...FORGET ABOUT IT! Most producers of rock-n-roll
are bonified musicians.
If you take heed to this information you can have a long and
prosperous career in the music production industry.
You will also get a bunch of money.
I know this is why you are producing or looking for
information about this subject in the first place. Trust me
when I tell you that done right the cash is GREAT!
