Music Production Programs

Are you having a hard time choosing which music production programs to produce with?

Let me tell you a little story. When I first started out as what I was then calling a producer, I was confused.

Here is why that's crazy.

When I began in 1999 the main software programs were Master Tracks Pro and Cakewalk.

That's It!

No Protools, Reason, FL Studio, native Instruments, Ik Multimedia or Steinberg products.

At least not in my network.

Never the less I had a hard time choosing because Cakewalk looked more intimidating than Master Tracks Pro.

End of story!

Let's discuss looks and functionality now. Just because a piece of production software looks complicated doesn't mean that is the case.

Hell if this were true I would have never picked up Propellerhead Reason. This software looks extremely difficult but it really isn't.

Okay, back to the matter at hand. Music programs are all different but similar.

Huh? What the heck are you talking about Calvin? What I mean is they all have different colors, modules, knobs and synthesis. However the common denominator is...THEY ARE ALL GOING TO PRODUCE SOUND FOR YOUR MUSIC!
